Fabletics: Picks & Review

Fabletics.

I've been in need of new athletic wear for quite some time.  I think it can be beneficial to exercise in clothes that make you feel confident and comfortable, and my old fitness apparel has seen better days.  I've seen their marketing campaigns, and thought I would give Fabletics a try.  I signed up for the "VIP Perks," because the prices were just so much cheaper that way, but the jury is still out on whether or not I'll keep my "membership."  The gist of the deal is that each month they send you a list of selections.  If you don't want to order anything that month, then you have to say so online by the 5th of the month.  If you fail to do so,  your account will be charged $49.95, which you can then use as a credit at a later date.  The perks include getting up to 40% off retail items, free shipping on orders over $49.95, and earning reward points for purchases.  The 40% off is a pretty sweet deal, and I'm pretty pleased with the quality of the items I received.

#1. Norwalk Tank- Small; I really love this all-in-one tank.  The built-in sport's bra is really supportive and I felt very comfortable wearing it sans additional sports bra to a barre class. As you see, I'm a fan of shirts that are loose and long, and this one fits the criteria.
#2. Rio Run Capri- Medium; 99% of my exercise attire consists of black capri pants, so I thought I'd mix it up with a print. These are really comfortable!  I was nervous that they might be tight around the bottom of my knees, but they fit really well.
#3. Breezy Tank- Small; I like this tank, but I don't love it.  The length is a little awkwardly long, but I'm going to keep it.  I think it will be especially nice for hot summer runs.
#4. Doon Sports Bra- Small; I've yet to work out in this, but it's really comfortable, and I don't for see any major issues. The back is mesh, and will be cool in the summer.

Returns:
This Fine Print.

There is one more item that I ordered that is not pictured above, and that would be the Moro Short (see below).  I constantly see girls wearing these tight little volleyball-esque shorts, and I thought to myself, "I've been working out a lot lately, I could probably wear those!"  Alas, I was wrong.  I have the thighs of a girl who played soccer for ten years, not the thighs of a dancer and these shorts created a lovely upside down muffin effect.  As I was looking up how to return these lovely little shorty shorts, I stumbled upon the fine print.  Accessing a return label is easy, you just go to your order history and print one off, the part I missed is that exchanges are free, but returns aren't.  The site states:

"In the US and Canada, Fabletics offers 3 easy return options: (1) return for Fabletics membership or store credit for free; (2) exchange for another item for free; (3) return for a refund* minus a $5.95 restocking fee."
